When you create an account, we collect your email address and password. When you create QR codes, we store the destination URLs you provide. When someone scans a QR code, we collect anonymous scan data including approximate location (city/country level), device type, browser, and timestamp.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide the ScanLink service: generating QR codes, tracking scan analytics, managing your account, and processing payments. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled. Our application is hosted on Vercel. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase - Authentication and database
- Vercel - Application hosting
- Creem - Payment processing (as Merchant of Record, Creem handles all payment data, tax, and billing compliance)
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
6. Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. You can export your QR code data from the dashboard. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
